After a long winter, it’s time to get your pool ready for relaxing days ahead. The Rx Clear® Salt Water Opening Kit makes spring pool opening simple and effective. Designed for pools up to 30,000 gallons, this complete chemical combination helps restore water balance and prepare your pool for the season.

Stabilizer helps preserve chlorine by preventing UV degradation. Jack's Magic® The Purple Stuff™ naturally prevents and removes scale and stains safely. Rx Clear® 50% Algaecide kills and prevents algae growth. Rx Clear® Salt Test Strips help ensure proper salinity for optimal chlorine production. Together, these products work to keep your pool looking its best from the very start of the season.

Instructions:

1. Test and adjust total alkalinity to 60–100 ppm to help maintain proper pH control throughout the summer.

2. Test and adjust pH to the 7.2–7.6 range to maximize chlorine performance and minimize skin and eye irritation.

3. Raise cyanuric acid levels to 70–90 ppm by adding Rx Clear® Stabilizer. This helps prevent chlorine loss due to sunlight. The typical annual dosage is 2 lbs per 5,000 gallons of water. Product must be pre-dissolved prior to application.

4. Add one bottle of Jack's Magic®: The Purple Stuff™. This acts as a liquid magnet for iron, copper, manganese, and other unwanted metals that can stain or discolor pool water when using saltwater generators.

5. Add 10 oz. of 50% Algaecide per 10,000 gallons of water. Apply in one spot to minimize foaming. This coats the pool walls, disrupts algae cell membranes, and kills suspended algae.

6. Maintain pH between 7.2–7.6 and chlorine levels at 1–3 ppm. If chlorine drops below 1 ppm, set the dial to “Boost,” which acts as a shock treatmen
